Our study systematically identified seven candidate hub genes (PDP1, ALS2CL, VLDLR, PLEKHA6, PPP1CB, MOSPD2, and METTL9) through a combination of various bioinformatics analyses and machine learning algorithms, and provided a nomogram for diagnosing sarcopenia associated with osteoporosis. Here, PLEKHA6 is linked to osteoporosis.
