CD38-targeting immunotherapy, daratumumab, is approved in combination with lenalidomide and dexamethasone (the triplet-based DRd regimen) in patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (NDMM) that are transplant-ineligible (TI) and is considered the best SOC to date on the basis of a median progression-free survival (PFS) of 62 months1–3. Here, CD38 is linked to plasma cell myeloma.
