Additionally, CETSA assay was performed to detect whether benserazide can bind to CBS in cancer cells and it was found that the amount of undegraded CBS protein increased in the presence of benserazide, and the thermal melting curve of the complex protein shifted to the right at the denaturation temperature of 52°C–67°C (Figures 3C, D), indicating that benzserazide can bind to CBS protein in cancer cells.
