PPARG and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease: The observed increase in the expression level of BACE-1, ADAM-10, TAU, PPARγ, and APP genes in the positive control group (uncatalyzed, anthracene only), as well as in cells treated with TlFLU1L degradation product, suggests that these products are neurotoxic and capable of inducing neurodegeneration like Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
