CRP and acute kidney injury: Laboratory findings, which suggested mild inflammation and acute kidney injury (AKI) due to hypovolemia, were as follows: white blood cell count, 9470/mm3; aspartate aminotransferase, 45 U/L; alanine aminotransferase, 31 U/L; blood urea nitrogen, 76.7 mg/dL; creatinine, 1.87 mg/dL; amylase, 536 U/L; and C-reactive protein, 0.36 mg/dL.
