MOG and autism: We explored the relationship of EFRS, brain connectivity and behaviors of ASD children, and found that ASD EFRS could not independently affect autism symptoms, but through the mediation of the FC of middle occipital gyrus (MOG) and pallidum (PAL) (see Figure 5), indicating that FC of MOG and PAL may be involved the neuroimaging mechanism of social communication symptoms of ASD caused by polygenic genetic risk.
