Further analysis revealed that BRCA1: c.2566T>C (p.Y856H) accounted for 12.87% of all BRCA1 mutations (Supplementary Figures S5A, B), and BRCA2: c.8187G>T (p.K2729N) constituted 9.36% of all BRCA2 mutations (Supplementary Figures S5C, D), were significantly higher in the East Asian population than in other populations, and were geographically characteristic BRCA1/2 mutation in the Chinese ovarian cancer population. This evidence concerns the gene BRCA1 and ovarian carcinoma.
