In this study, we confirmed not only that ACAT1 promoted the proliferation and migration of BLCA cells both in vivo and in vitro but also that ACAT1 enhanced BLCA cell proliferation and metastasis via the AKT/GSK3β/c-Myc signaling pathway by modulating the cell cycle and EMT. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
