IL2 and ganglioneuroma: COVID-19 vaccines, especially mRNA vaccines, have been linked to an increased prevalence of p-ANCA GN, mainly due to their high immunogenicity and global use [7,42]. Lipid-based nanoparticles of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines induce activation of CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell lymphocytes and enhance an increased production of B cells in the germinal centers, leading to increased secretion of inflammatory mediators, such as interferons and interleukin-2 (IL-2).
