The age of COPD patients infected with Omicron was higher than those who were not infected (71.26 vs. 67.21, p < 0.01), and levels of CRP (24.7 vs. 10.79, p < 0.0001), FIB (4.2 vs. 2.89, p < 0.0001), and D_dimer (402.09 vs. 364.5, p < 0.01) were also higher in COPD patients infected with Omicron. Here, CRP is linked to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
