Conversely, in the current study, t10c12-CLA did not cause body fat loss but resulted in complicated symptoms in female mice, including a dose-dependent increase in multiple hormones and inflammatory factors (PGE2, glucagon, corticosterone, adrenaline, IL-6, and TNFα), less heat release, fatty liver and hypertriglyceridemia. This evidence concerns the gene GCG and fatty liver disease.
