In NSCLC, oncogenic driver mutations are commonly found in genes such as epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), erb-b2 receptor tyrosine kinase 2 (HER2), v-raf murine sarcoma viral oncogene homologue B1 (BRAF), Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog (KRAS), anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK), ROS proto-oncogene 1 (ROS1), ret proto-oncogene (RET) and hepatocyte growth factor receptor (MET)4. This evidence concerns the gene RET and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
