Anaplastic thyroid cancer (ATC) is another malignancy that harbors BRAF mutations in 25–45% of cases, and BRAF-targeted therapies have shown efficacy in this aggressive malignancy with a PFS around 6 months in a recent meta-analysis [20, 21]. The gene discussed is BRAF; the disease is thyroid gland undifferentiated (anaplastic) carcinoma.
