CRP and rheumatoid arthritis: In the multivariable analysis performed to investigate the factors associated with CCJ in patients with RA, age at diagnosis (for each unit increase) (OR (95% confidence interval (CI)): 1.03 (1.01–1.06); p = 0.008), disease duration (per unit increment) (1.06 (1.02–1.10)); p = 0.004), C-reactive protein (per unit increase) (1.11 (1.02–1.22); p = 0.023) were found to be the independent predictors.
