While the antiphospholipid score (aPL-S) is a scoring based solely on the serological profile (three different clotting assays to detect LA and IgG/IgM isotypes of aCL, β2GPI and aPS/PT), the global antiphospholipid syndrome score (GAPSS) includes conventional cardiovascular risk factors (arterial hypertension and hyperlipidemia) in addition to the serological profile (LA and IgG/IgM isotypes of aCL, β2GPI, and aPS/PT) [8,9]. This evidence concerns the gene APOH and antiphospholipid syndrome.
