In ALS patients, the proportions above the median of the CSF microprotein, IgG, albumin, and QALB were significantly higher than those in controls (CSF microprotein: 56.9% vs. 13.5%; IgG: 53.6% vs. 26.0%; albumin: 53.5% vs. 19.8%; QALB: 53.7% vs. 11.5%). Here, ALB is linked to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
