Rho-associated coiled-coil protein kinase (ROCK) is a downstream effector of Rho (Kimura and Horikoshi, 2023) with excessive Rho/ROCK activity having implications in a variety of neurodegenerative diseases such as epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease. Here, RHO is linked to early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
