PRTN3 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis: The main findings of the study were as follows: (a) the number of NE- and PR3-positive CLSs was markedly increased in patients with MASH and closely associated with biochemical and histological markers of liver injury; (b) the cutoff value for neutrophilic CLSs of 0.3 and 1.3 per 20× microscopic field accurately discriminated borderline MASH and definite MASH, respectively; and (c) the diagnostic accuracy of neutrophilic CLSs was validated in an external multicenter cohort.
