CD5L and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease: The results of GSEA enrichment analysis for C02-CD5L-Macro indicated that, in comparison to the control group, NAFLD patients exhibited up-regulation in the pro-inflammatory signaling pathway, the signaling pathways associated with regulated cell death (e.g., regulated necrosis and ferroptosis), and the signaling pathway related to sulfide metabolism (e.g., sulfide oxidation leading to sulfate) (Figure 8G; Supplementary Table S11).
