In our study, western blot experiments revealed that epithelial markers (E-cadherin) were significantly increased, while mesenchymal markers (vimentin, N-cadherin) were decreased by CSPG4P12. A growing body of clinical and experimental studies have shown the prognostic value of these EMT‐related proteins in CRC patients. The gene discussed is CSPG4P12; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
