After including these risk factors in a multivariate logistic regression analysis using a stepwise forward method, NT-proBNP (OR 4.323; 95% CI, 2.433–7.679; p < 0.001) and sST2 (OR 1.020; 95% CI, 1.003–1.037; p = 0.022) remained statistically significant and were independent risk factors for MACEs during hospitalization in pediatric myocarditis patients (Table 2).
