Thirteen genes (GGT1, PRSS1, CASR, CTRB1, ABO, CTRC, CLDN2, CPA1, FUT2, MORC4, SPINK1, CEL, or CFTR) have been previously identified as chronic/acute pancreatitis-related genes3–18, and 9 of them (GGT1, CTRB1, ABO, CTRC, CLDN2, CPA1, FUT2, CEL, CFTR) are potential regulators of the IL-6 amplifier by our results, which was reported previously29. The gene discussed is CLDN2; the disease is acute pancreatitis.
