Analyzing publicly available single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNAseq) data from human GBM35 showed the highest level and frequency of CXCL12 mRNA expression in endothelial cells, followed by pericytes, myeloid (macrophages, microglia), and glioma cells (Fig. 3a, Supplementary Fig. 4). The gene discussed is CXCL12; the disease is central nervous system cancer.
