Clinical evaluation of these protein subgroups showed that patients in the G-II subgroup had a higher frequency of tumor thrombus (P-value = 1.2e-04), higher AFP level (P-value = 0.011), and advanced TNM stages (P-value = 0.003) compared to those in the G-I subgroup (Kruskal-Wallis test; Fig. 6c). The gene discussed is AFP; the disease is neoplasm.
