According to the pan-cancer analysis, IFITM2 expression varied between cancer types: the expression was significantly higher in colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, renal clear cell carcinoma, and bile duct carcinoma, but low expression in bladder urothelial carcinoma, renal chromophobe cell carcinoma, lung squamous cancer, lung adenocarcinoma, and endometrial cancer. Here, IFITM2 is linked to endometrial cancer.
