SOX2 and lung cancer: Among the 105 pairs of lung adenocarcinoma and pericancerous tissues, Sang (30)et al. discovered that 46.66% of lung adenocarcinoma specimens expressed the MAGE family, which was associated with a low 10-year survival rate and poor prognosis, suggesting that SOX2 and MAGE antibodies could be used as markers to classify various histological subtypes of lung cancer and assess their prognosis.
