In this study, BODIPY 581/591 C11 staining showed that niraparib plus POA markedly induced lipid peroxidation in ovarian cancer cells (Fig. 4G) and inhibited the expression of GPX4, which detoxified phospholipid peroxidation and protected the cells from ferroptosis (Fig. 4H). This evidence concerns the gene GPX4 and ovarian cancer.
