Literature search revealed that mesenchymal stem‐cell‐derived exosomal miR‐24‐3p prevents inflammation and lipogenesis in the liver through targeting of Keap1 and Sting and that miR‐411‐5p levels are decreased in the serum exosomes and livers of patients with NAFLD and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) (Du et al., 2022; Wan et al., 2022). This evidence concerns the gene KEAP1 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
