CRP and Hypertension: In the multivariate logistic regression analysis, which was adjusted for factors significantly correlated with PAS, including DM, age, SBP, fasting glucose, eGFR, CRP, and OC, we identified that serum OC levels (odds ratio [OR]: 1.797, 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.077–3.000, p = 0.025) and age (OR: 1.076, 95% CI: 1.004–1.153, p = 0.037) were found to be independently correlated with PAS in patients with hypertension (Table 2).
