Bortezomib–CHOP, however, was associated with an elevated risk of grade-three or higher neutropenia, 30.4%, compared to 19.6% with CHOP alone; nevertheless, grade-three or higher sensory neuropathy was similar in both arms: 6.5% with bortezomib–CHOP and 4.3% with CHOP. Here, DDIT3 is linked to sensory peripheral neuropathy.
