VEGFB and neoplasm: The percentage of positive 2H10 antibody staining was comparable to that with a commercial anti-VEGF-B antibody (MAB751, R&D Systems); both VEGF-B antibodies showed cytoplasmic staining of tumor and normal tissues, apart from in the brain where 2H10 only bound tumors (4/10) versus normal (0/12), while MAB751 bound tumors (10/10) and some normal samples (4/13) (Tables S1–S3).
