Our data demonstrate that AR positivity is similarly frequent in testicular and ovarian sex-cord stroma tumors as in prostatic adenocarcinomas although the AR expression levels tend to be lower in sex-cord stroma tumors and that neoplasms of the breast, other carcinomas of the female genital tract, renal cell carcinomas, and urothelial carcinomas represent further tumor categories with frequent and often strong AR expression.
