Methylome and transcriptome analysis of the blood of the PD individuals revealed differentially methylated regions, which were mapped near the genes, including nuclear transcription factor Y subunit alpha (NFYA), vault RNA 2-1 (VTRNA2-1), cytochrome P450 family 1 subfamily A member 1 (CYP1A1) and discoidin domain receptor tyrosine kinase 1 (DDR1) [166]. This evidence concerns the gene DDR1 and Parkinson disease.
