In univariate logistic regression analysis (Table 2), there was a significant statistical association between TB and the following variables: weight loss, fever, absence of arthralgia, necrotic granuloma, normal serum lysozyme level, elevated CRP level, hypergammaglobulinemia, no symmetrical localization of mediastinal lymph nodes on the 18F-FDG-PET/CT and no bilateral pulmonary involvement on the 18F-FDG-PET/CT (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and tuberculosis.
