Kim and Yeun [44] demonstrated in their systematic review, which included 18 studies with 539 participants aged 62.0 to 82.7 years old, that moderate-intensity resistance exercise performed two to four times per week for durations of 20 to 70 min over a 12-week period had a significant effect on reducing IL-6, CRP, IL-10, and TNF-α levels in older individuals with chronic conditions such as cancer and diabetes. Here, CRP is linked to cancer.
