As Islr deletion can enhance the antioxidative capacity by increasing the PKM2 activity, we investigated whether breaking the link between ISLR and PKM2 can increase the sensitivity of triple-negative breast cancer cells to cisplatin by elevating ROS levels; therefore, 4T1 cells were treated with shikonin, cisplatin, or both reagents. This evidence concerns the gene PKM and triple-negative breast carcinoma.
