It has been reported that the levels of CCR3 ligands, including eotaxin, are increased in the airways of asthma or eosinophilic pneumonia patients [30] and that anti-CCR3 Abs, but not anti-IL-5 Abs, inhibit the eosinophil transendothelial migration induced by the BALF from subjects with acute eosinophilic pneumonia [30].
