Using a mouse model of AA induced by house dust mite (HDM) extract, a major perennial allergen associated with human asthma, we found that the oral administration of AMDK19-HK alleviated AAI by suppressing airway goblet cell hyperplasia, subepithelial collagen deposition, eosinophilia, Th2-associated cytokine and chemokine production, AHR to methacholine, and serum IgE production. Here, IGHE is linked to asthma.
