Genistein could effectively decrease the viability of HT29 and SW620 cells and found that intracellular NF-KB was translocated from the cytoplasm to the nucleus, which proved that genistein could decrease cell viability of colon cancer cells and inhibit the proliferation by increasing the oxidative stress and inflammatory response of colon cancer cells (Alorda-Clara et al., 2022). This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and colonic neoplasm.
