Multivariate analysis indicated that the age of patients (OR = 1.06; 95% CI, 1.04–1.08, < 0.001), D-dimer (OR = 1.40; 95% CI, 1.06–1.56, p = 0.002), and CRP levels on admission (OR = 1.12; 95% CI, 1.06–1.26, p = 0.003) were risk factors associated with severe COVID-19 (Supplementary Table 1). Here, CRP is linked to COVID-19.
