Significant associations between cumulative mean serum albumin and the occurrence of hypertension were Q1 (OR, 1.07, 95% CI, 0.87–1.31), Q2 (OR, 0.96, 95% CI, 0.78–1.17), Q4 (OR, 0.86, 95% CI, 0.71–1.06) and Q5 (OR, 0.74, 95% CI, 0.60–0.92) (ptrend = 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and Hypertension.
