AMH and obesity disorder: Obesity is more common in women with PCOS compared with women without PCOS and a recent study showed that women with PCOS gain more weight annually compared with women without PCOS.30Previous studies have found a strong correlation between decreasing AMH levels and increasing BMIs in patients both with and without PCOS, suggesting different AMH cut-offs for different BMI groups.31, 32Indeed, a recent study looking at different BMI subgroups and correlation between oligo-anovulation and AMH suggested progressively lower AMH cut-offs for women with increasing BMI to diagnose PCOS.33
