Similarly, a statistically significant negative correlation was found between the serum levels of TNF-α and JADAS10 scores during therapy with adalimumab or etanercept (p = 0.040) in a subgroup of patients with oligoarticular JIA (r =  − 0.207), but there was no statistically significant correlation between the serum levels of TNF-α and JADAS10 scores in patients with polyarticular JIA (r =  − 0.171). This evidence concerns the gene TNF and juvenile idiopathic arthritis.
