In 2021, American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) reported the first efficacy and safety data of immunotherapy in real-world NSCLC harboring EGFR ex20ins mutations, with 11 first-line patients who received immunologic monotherapy and 16 first-line patients who received immuno-combination chemotherapy having an ORR of 9.1% vs. 18.8%, median PFS of 3.1 vs. 4.5 months, and median overall survival (OS) of 11.0 vs. 11.3 months, respectively. Here, EGFR is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
