MUC5B and rheumatoid arthritis: A risk score developed based on sex, smoking status, CDAI, ESR and extra-articular manifestations in 118 patients with RA had 90% sensitivity and 64% specificity for identifying patients with RA-ILD on HRCT [53], while a risk score developed based on sex, age at RA onset, DAS-28-ESR score and the MUC5B promoter variant in 163 patients with RA had 75% sensitivity and 85% specificity [32].
