In 2016, given the prognostic importance of MYC, BCL2, and BCL6 rearrangements in patients with lymphoma [34, 38–40], the World Health Organization (WHO) defined a new entity with an aggressive clinical course and poor clinical outcome, high-grade B-cell lymphomas with MYC and BCL2 and/or BCL6 rearrangements (HGBL-R), which was previously known as DHL/THL [41–44]. This evidence concerns the gene MYC and B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
