Accordingly, we analyzed the mechanism of CAT in cerebral ischemic via the NRF1/KAT2A/METTL3/Beclin-1 axis with the focus on neuronal injury and autophagy, aiming to offer a theoretical basis for the development of CAT as neuroprotective drugs for the prevention and treatment of cerebral ischemia. Here, NRF1 is linked to brain ischemia.
