Through qRT-PCR testing, we observed that in colon cancer tissue, the mRNA expression levels of VEGFA (p < 0.05), TIMP1 (p < 0.0001), MYC (p < 0.0001), and EPHA2 (p < 0.05) were higher than in normal tissue (Fig. 11K–M,P). This evidence concerns the gene MYC and colonic neoplasm.
