Moreover, ADAR harbored multiple 3′-UTR eQTL and ilQTL variants in gastric cancer (Fig. 6A), while we also found ADAR to be significantly overexpressed in responders (n = 55) compared to non-responders (n = 80) to immune-checkpoint inhibitors, in a cohort consisting of gastric cancer and melanoma patients (Fig. 6B)50,51,69,70. This evidence concerns the gene ADAR and melanoma.
