In the present study, we assessed the fEI and 2 other measures of neuronal oscillation dynamics, namely power and long-range temporal correlations (LRTC), in a genetic mouse model for Fragile X syndrome and ASD (Fragile X Messenger Ribonucleoprotein 1 (Fmr1) knockout [KO]), for which neuronal hyperexcitability was previously suggested. Here, FMR1 is linked to fragile X syndrome.
